David Neiman

Social media branding and content strategist David Neiman has spent his career working with athletes from high school to the professional ranks.

Since 2007, David has run Athlete Interactive, a digital agency that pioneered the ways that pro athletes use social media to tell their stories and shape how they’re seen, maximizing their career and financial opportunities. Clients have included Trae Young, Gordon Hayward, Zach Ertz, Steven Jackson, Brad Keselowski and many others.

An award-winning digital developer and a former sportswriter primarily for the Washington Post, where he specialized in human interest feature stories, David is a graduate of Stanford University.

He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and their two teenage daughters, who provide him with new parenting and social media challenges all the time.

Alex Tarshis

Alex Tarshis has built his career working with professional athletes, helping them tell their stories to the world.

He began his career at the New Jersey Nets before moving to the sports section of the New York Times and then to the NBA. At the NBA, Alex worked in the player marketing group, helping to improve the image of NBA players. While working at the NBA, Alex also completed an MBA in Sports Management at the Stillman School of Business at Seton Hall University.

In 2011, Alex joined Priority Sports & Entertainment, a sports agency representing 200+ NBA & NFL players and coaches, eventually rising to Senior Vice President. At Priority, he led the social media and marketing efforts of, among others, Bradley Beal, Kyle Lowry, Michael Porter Jr. and Steve Kerr.

Alex lives in the Chicago suburbs with his wife and their young son and daughter, who have yet to discover what social media is.
